Dive Xtras's products originate from the real-world diving experience of the owners Andrew Georgitsis and Ben McGeever. Their background as technical, wreck & cave divers, aerospace engineers and entrepreneurs have contributed to Dive Xtras's innovative line of scuba vehicles and & accessories.
  Our premier product is the X-Scooter family of super lightweight yet powerful underwater diver propulsion vehicles. Diver propulsion vehicles (DPV's) are also referred to as DPD's (diver propulsion device's), underwater scooters, scuba scooters or just plain dive scooters.
The  X-Scooter family comprises of the Sierra and the CUDA. The Sierra Scooters (DPD, DPV) are lightest weight in their class and offer a vehicle that owners can both travel on airlines and use at home for all their technical or recreational diving needs.  The CUDA X-Scooters (diver propulsion device's) are heavier but are the most powerful scuba scooters in their class. They offer considerably more speed and power than the Sierra and are more efficient at normal speeds, giving then exceptional range.  
  All the X-Scooter tow behind diver propulsion vehicles share design features giving them major advantages over competing designs. Their all aluminum construction makes them lighter weight than the average technical or cave diving scuba scooter. Features such as the interchangeable body lengths, high thrust brushless motors, ergonomic T-Handle, trigger Shift on the fly speed control, variable pitch propeller system and much more are excellent for recreational, technical, wreck, cave, commercial, military, police, SAR, CSI & special needs divers alike.    The X-Scooter underwater diver propulsion vehicle's (scuba scooter) have a full line of accessories. These include NiMh and Li-Ion batteries, Navigation (compass) mounts, underwater video camera mounts with special adapters for Light and Motion and Gates housings, underwater light mounts, spares kits and travel cases. The Sierra travel cases meet size and weight restrictions of most airlines.
